How do I change my bank info?

If your direct deposit is now being sent to a new bank account, you’ll need to update the new bank info in the app

Please note that it may take some time before your account becomes active again once you’ve updated your bank information. This is because we need to re-establish your account using the new bank. If you want to speed up the process, make sure that you have at least one direct deposit already posted in the new bank account.

Here’s how your can change your bank info in the app:

For Android:

  1. Go to Settings in your Earnin app
  2. Choose "Edit Bank Details"
  3. Select your bank under "Current Bank" (make sure not to click on Update Online Banking Info)
  4. Search and select your bank in the drop-down menu
  5. Enter your online banking username/password

For iOS

  1. Go to Settings in your Earnin app
  2. Select "My Bank"
  3. Select "Change Bank or Account" (not Update Online Banking Info)
  4. Search and select your bank in the drop-down menu
  5. Enter your online banking username/password

Once you’ve successfully updated your bank info in the app, we will be sending a set of test transactions which will post after 1-2 business days to verify the information. If you see them post and your account is still not active, contact us.
