Why is the Earnin app trying to verify my bank again?

We are actively working with banks to rethink ways of collaborating to make your money work better for you. However, overhauling the financial system takes some time. While we work on that, we continue to rely on verified bank connections.

There are a number of possible reasons why we may be trying to re-establish the connection with your bank account:

  • You recently changed your bank account on the app.
  • You re-entered the same bank information on the app.
  • There was a recently resolved bank connection issue with your account.

For now, we suggest you wait 24 hours so we can establish a connection. If after 24 hours you see your connection is still being verified, feel free to reach out to one of our community advocates via our 24/7 live chat support.
