For Android devices
Please check the following:
- Open your device's Settings app
- Tap Location
- Tap the On/Off switch to turn location Off
- Restart your device (power off and on)
- Open your device's Settings app
- Tap Location
- Tap the On/Off switch to turn location On
- Choose location mode: High accuracy
- Once you’ve done that, please open the Maps app on your phone to determine if your location is being reported accurately. If not, it’s possible that there is something wrong with your installation of the Android OS and/or the hardware in your device.
For iOS devices
Please check the following:
- Please try this at work to try to increase your device's GPS performance:
- Turn phone off/on
- Turn location services off/on
- Perform a GPS reset:
- Double-tap the home button. This will bring up tile-sized images of all currently running apps. Swipe the screens of all apps upwards to close them.
- Then go into settings and turn on Airplane Mode.
- When you've done that go to Settings
- Click on General
- Tap on Reset. Choose reset network settings (you will need to re-enter your wifi passwords)
- Once your phone has been reset go to Settings then Location Services. Turn it off and on again.
- Go to Settings
- Click on Privacy then go to Location Services.
- Tap the System Services then proceed to Setting Time Zone and click OFF
- Once done, please open the Maps app on your phone to verify if your location is being reported accurately. If it is not, it’s possible that there is something wrong with your installation of iOS and/or the hardware in your device. Please check the section on increasing accuracy on Apple’s official support page.
If you follow these steps and see that earnings aren’t being added after you go to and from work, please contact support.
