There are two main reasons our app would request to see your bank transactions:
- To verify that you are still receiving your direct deposits from your employer
- To verify that our debits or test transactions went through to your account
These are both done because Earnin uses third-party banking providers like most financial institutions. Thus, we don't have live minute-by-minute access to automatically update your account.
