How to update my work information on the App

 

Procedure

We know many of our community members are updating their work information or are unable to utilize Automagic Earnings as they work from home. We’re here to help you navigate these changes. 

In order to accommodate the millions of Americans who are affected by the circumstances surrounding COVID-19, we want to allow our community members who rely on cashing out to continue to do so. In order to work from home and still use Earnin, we need the following information: 

  1. A copy of your employer notification that says:
    • You are approved to work from home
      OR
    • You are not working but still getting a paycheck.
  2. At least one successful Cash Out and debit from your account. 
  3. Received direct deposits for the last three consecutive pay periods.

When things change, we’ll be here to update your info for you again. 

If you would like to change your general work information (unrelated to working from home), please take the following steps.

For Android:

  1. In the Earnin app, go to Settings on the upper right.
  2. Click Work Info
  3. Select your Pay Type
  4. Click Next
  5. Select your employer.
  6. Click Set Location.
  7. Enter the address of the physical location of your work. If you work from home, Automagic won't be available to you yet. 
  8. Click Save Workplace after you set the address of where you work.

For iOS:

  1. In the Earnin app, go to Settings on the upper left.
  2. Click Work Info
  3. Select your Pay Type
  4. Click Continue.
  5. Select your employer.
  6. Click Set Location
  7. Enter the address of the physical location of your work. If you work from home, Automagic won't be available to you yet. 

Click Save Workplace after you set the address of where you work
