Screenshot FAQs
My bank won't allow me to screenshot anything. How can I get a recent bank transaction sent to you?
For security purposes, some banks won't allow their customers to take a screenshot of their bank details or transactions. If this is the case, kindly follow the steps below:
- You need to login to your bank account online using a laptop, desktop or another phone and take a picture of it.
- Send or transfer the screenshot to the phone where the app is installed so that you can send the image through the app or via chat.
How to upload an image while on chat
- In the chat screen, click on the + button
- Allow EarnIn app access to your device’s photos and/or camera
- Take a photo or select a screenshot
- Your screenshot will automatically send once uploaded
Make sure your app permissions allow EarnIn access to your device’s photo library and camera.
Why wasn’t my screenshot approved?
This most likely means there’s missing information on your screenshot. Review the email EarnIn sent for the specific reason.

Who can use EarnIn?
Before signing up, make sure you meet the requirements. This includes a consistent direct deposit pay schedule and either a fixed work location, or an employer-provided email address. Learn more: Who can use EarnIn?
Why does the app say I already have an EarnIn account?
If you had a previous EarnIn account, any unpaid debits must be repaid before using EarnIn again.
If you’re using the same bank information as a previous account, there’s a 30-day waiting period unless the previous account has been deleted and there are no pending debits.
Contact support to get assistance with this.
Why does it say my bank isn’t supported?
EarnIn is continually adding banks to the app to better serve the community. Find a list of unsupported banks and prepaid cards here: List of unsupported banks.
What if I don’t see my employer on the list?
There’s an option for you to add your employer during your EarnIn account setup. EarnIn works separately from your employer and does not contact them.
