Why is my bank balance incorrect on the app?

Your displayed in-app bank balance might differ from your actual bank balance. If the amount is below -$100, this prevents you from using Cash Out until the information is refreshed.  

Banks don’t provide real-time information through our bank information partner which causes the information delay. This information automatically refreshes throughout the day. 

If your in-app balance is not updated in a timely manner, you can try a few steps to refresh. 

  1. Download the latest version of EarnIn in the app store. 
  2. Restart the app. 
  3. If the delay continues, try reconnecting to your bank. 

Change or update bank information (iOS and Android):

  1. Go to EarnIn app settings (the three horizontal bars in the lower right corner of the app)
  2. Tap on Linked Bank Account
  3. Tap Change
  4. Select your bank from the dropdown list 
  5. Enter your online banking username and password
