Max Boost lets you request a temporary $75 increase to your max from a co-worker who also uses Cash Out. If you use it, the $75 is included in what you repay on payday.
You can request 1 Boost per pay period. You can grant up to 2 per pay period.
To request or grant, both of you need Cash Out onboarding. Early Pay and Live Pay customers cannot use Max Boost.
Who is eligible to request a Boost?
You can request if
- You have no failed repayments
- You don’t already have a boost for this pay period
- You share the same employer as your co-worker
- You haven’t added or changed employer in the last 28 days
Your co-worker can grant if they share your employer, they’ve cashed out at least once and that repayment went through, they have a grant available (up to 2 per pay period), and they haven’t added or changed employer in the last 28 days.
If you don’t see Max Boost in the app, check the conditions above. Boosts do not affect how EarnIn calculates your Pay Period Max.
How to request a Max Boost
- If you’re eligible, you’ll see a Request Boost link on the app’s home screen.
- The app will generate a shareable link you can send to a co-worker via text, email, or your company intranet.
- Once your co-worker approves, you’ll see a $75 increase.
If we’re able to debit your linked bank account on payday, you can request another Boost next pay period.
If you share your request with someone who doesn’t have an EarnIn account, they’ll be prompted to sign up. Once their account is set up, they can confirm your Boost.
Max Boost won’t work correctly if:
- Your link was sent to someone who isn’t a co-worker.
- We’re unable to verify that you work at the same company (for example, a parent or subsidiary company).
- The link was sent to someone with an incompatible EarnIn account, such as Cash Out to Cash Out Link.
