Here's how to manage your Tip Jars / Savings Jars in the EarnIn app.
Add funds to a jar
You can deposit between $1 and $100 per paycheck across all your jars combined. Quick-add options are available, or tap the keypad icon to enter a custom amount. You can split deposits across multiple jars (up to 5 total).
Add a new jar
1. Tap the Manage icon (three dots).
2. Select Add New Jar.
You can have up to 5 jars at a time, with a combined balance of up to $2,000 with a maximum combined balance of $2,000 at any time.
Edit or close a jar
1. Tap the Manage icon (three dots).
2. Select View All Jars.
3. Select the jar you want to edit or close.
If the jar has a balance, you'll be prompted to withdraw funds before it closes. Standard withdrawal processing times apply.
Cancel a pending deposit
If a deposit hasn't processed yet, you can cancel it:
1. Go to the Save (or Savings) tab.
2. Tap My Activity.
3. Tap Cancel on the specific deposit.
Deposit transfers process each business day at 9 a.m. PT and 5 p.m. PT.
AutoSave
AutoSave automatically deposits a set amount into a jar on your payday.
To turn on AutoSave:
1. Go to the Save (or Savings) tab.
2. Tap Set up (or the AutoSave button on your jar).
3. Choose an amount ($1-$100) to set aside every paycheck and confirm.
Your AutoSave will begin on your next payday. You can set a unique AutoSave rule for each jar.
To edit or turn off AutoSave:
1. Tap the Edit button on the jar you want to update (or use the three-dot menu > Edit AutoSave).
2. Adjust the amount or toggle AutoSave off.
