GPS earnings automatically adds your earnings to your account as you go to work each day.
Since this feature relies on GPS, there are a few requirements:
- You have a fixed physical work address.
- You're not working remotely or working from home.
- You don't travel during working hours.
- You’re able to bring your phone to work with you.
- You should be a salary or hourly employee.
If your work situation doesn’t meet these requirements, we suggest using work email earnings.
How to sign up for GPS earnings
For Android and iOS
- Go into Settings (3 lines on the bottom right corner of the app)
- Tap My Earnings.
- Tap GPS Earnings
- Add your complete work address
- Follow the prompts to confirm
You should see earnings added to your account within 1-2 days of working.
I travel to different work locations during the day.
If you have a job that requires you to be in multiple locations, please submit the address you spend the most time in. You may need to upload an electronic timesheet to manually add some of your work hours not added via GPS earnings, due to the nature of your job.
If applicable, we suggest signing up for work email earnings if you have a work-provided email address.
How to improve accuracy for GPS earnings
For Android devices
- Open your device's Settings app
- Tap Location
- Tap the On/Off switch to turn location Off
- Restart your device (power off and on)
- Open your device's Settings app
- Tap Location
- Tap the On/Off switch to turn location On
- Choose location mode: High accuracy
For iOS devices
- Try this at work to try to increase your device's GPS performance
- Turn phone off/on
- Turn location services off/on
- Perform a GPS reset
- Close all apps currently in use
- Then go into settings and turn on Airplane Mode
- When you've done that go to Settings
- Click on General
- Tap on Reset. Choose reset network settings (you will need to re-enter your wifi passwords)
- Once your phone has been reset go to Settings then Location Services. Turn it off and on again.
- Go to Settings
- Click on Privacy then go to Location Services
- Tap the System Services then proceed to Setting Time Zone and click OFF
If you follow these steps and see that earnings aren’t being added after you go to and from work, please contact support.
