I am having issues contacting Earnin's chat support

Symptoms

The community member is having problems contacting chat support

Device

  • iOS
  • Android

Cause

If you are having issues contacting our chat support, please ensure the following:

  • The operating system on your device is up to date
  • The Earnin app version you have downloaded is the current version

If, after updating your operating system and app version, you are still unable to contact chat support, please follow the steps below.

Solution

For iOS:

  1. Open the Earnin app and click the question mark icon located in the upper right corner of the screen
  2. Type your issue in the How can we help? field and click Enter
    1. Once you click Enter, a list of related articles will appear
  3. Select the article that is most relevant to your query
    1. If you don't see your issue listed, click the Contact Us button visible at the bottom of the screen
  4. Once you click Contact Us, it should redirect you to our How can we help? page
    1. You will see a dialog box where you can type your specific concern
    2. Your concern should be a minimum of 10 characters to activate the Continue button
  5. If you still haven't found the answer you need after the next page, click the I Need Help button
  6. Select a category (show at the bottom of the screen) and type your concern in the Tell us your Problem section so you can Start Chatting with our community advocates

For Android: 

  1. Open the Earnin app and click the 3 dots located in the upper right corner of the screen
    1. Click Support
  2. Type your issue in the Help Center field and click Enter
    1. Once you click Enter, a list of related articles will appear
  3. Select the article that is most relevant to your query
    1. If you don't see your issue listed, simply go back to the previous page and click the Chat with Us button
  4. You should be redirected to our How can we help? page
    1. You will see a dialog box where you can type your specific concern
    2. Your concern should be a minimum of 10 characters to activate the Continue to Solutions button
  5. If you still haven't found the answer you need after the next page, click the I Need Help button
  6. Select a category (show at the bottom of the screen) and type your concern in the Tell us your Problem section so you can Start Chatting with our community advocates

Additional notes

If the issue persists after you have followed the steps above, please try uninstalling the app and reinstalling it on your device.
