What are $1 Health Benefits?

$1 Health Benefits are low-cost health, wellness, and protection services available through our partner, Avibra. They are designed to support your physical, mental, and financial health for $1 per benefit, per week.

If you are looking for extra peace of mind without the high cost of traditional health care plans, these benefits offer a simple and budget-friendly way to get extra support, whether it is therapy, dental savings, accident protection, or even pet care.

These benefits are not a substitute for your typical insurance plan, but are a way to obtain additional protection for your health. Therefore, they do not depend on your employment status, government assistance, or other external factors. If you already have health insurance, you can add these benefits as an additional layer of coverage. 

How It Works

How do I access these benefits?

  1. Open the EarnIn app.
  2. Look for the "Protect your health" promo tile on your Home Screen or in the Explore tab.
  3. Tap the tile to visit Avibra's dedicated page.
  4. Sign up or manage your benefits from there.

Where do I manage or cancel my benefits?

You can manage everything through EarnIn. Find the “Health benefits” tile to: 

  • Add or remove benefits
  • Change your billing frequency
  • View your Membership Guide
  • Cancel at any time

You can also manage your account directly on Avibra's website and app. Benefits can be cancelled at any time. 

How much does each benefit cost?

Each benefit costs $1 per week. You have the option to be billed monthly, quarterly or yearly. You can choose one benefit or subscribe to multiple. 

Is there a waiting period?

Yes, depending on the benefit. Benefits can start immediately, or within 10-61 calendar days. Check the benefit details for waiting period information. 

Are there any hidden fees beyond $1/week per benefit?

Benefits must be billed monthly, quarterly or annually. Below is the exact amount you’ll pay per benefit depending on your preferred billing option:

  • Weekly: $1
  • Quarterly: $12.40 (5% discount)
  • Annually: $42.24 (19% discount)

Please note, if you cancel a benefit, the benefit is removed immediately, not on your next billing date. 

What types of benefits can I get?

A wide range. For $1/week per benefit, you can get: 

$20,000 AD&D Insurance - Accidental Death & Dismemberment Insurance pays out in a single lump sum to yourself or whoever you list as your beneficiary and triggers either upon your accidental death or a serious injury. The amount of the payout depends on the severity of the injury. 

  • Waiting period: 61 days after purchase

Family Dental Benefits - Members save 15%–50% per visit in most instances on services like cleanings, X-rays, fillings, root canals, crowns, and specialty care (e.g., orthodontics, periodontics) at participating nationwide locations. Use the button on the Avibra benefits page to find dentists and dental professionals in your area. 

  • Waiting period: First day of the month after your purchase.

$2,500 Critical Illness - Provides a fixed lump-sum cash payment directly to you to help cover medical or non-medical expenses if you experience a covered illness such as cancer, heart attack, stroke, or kidney failure. Once a claim with the required information is submitted, the provider reviews and issues payment. The policy also includes a $1,000 Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) benefit. 

  • Waiting period: 61 days after purchase

Family Vision Savings Pass -  Discount vision program offering savings on eye exams, contact lens exams, glasses, and sunglasses through in-network eye doctors. Members get $50 eye exams, 15% off contact lens exams, special pricing on eyewear, unlimited discounts on materials year-round, plus exclusive member extras and special offers. Benefits can be found using the provider search button on the benefits page. 

  • Waiting period: First day of the month after your purchase

$2,500 Life Insurance - Group Term Life insurance issued by Prudential that provides a lump-sum payment to your chosen beneficiaries if you pass away during your active membership with an eligible policy. There are no restrictions on how the benefit can be used, making it helpful for expenses like funeral costs, medical bills, or daily living expenses. You can name anyone as a beneficiary, including family, friends, guardians, financial dependents, or even a charity.

  • Waiting period: 61 days after purchase

$1,000 Accident Medical Insurance - Provides coverage for medical expenses your regular insurance may not cover after a covered accident. Benefits are paid directly to the medical provider or reimbursed to you after filing a claim for your covered accident. Check your Summary of Coverage for details on eligible treatments and costs.

Chiropractic Benefits - Members save 30% - 50% on X-rays, diagnostic services, and chiropractic treatments at over 3,000 nationwide providers, with no limit on visits. Discounts apply only at in-network providers, which you can search for using the portal button in the app.

  • Waiting period: 7 days after purchase

Teletherapy - Provides access to licensed counselors by phone or video for mental health concerns such as depression, stress, anxiety, grief, addiction, eating disorders, and relationship issues. Available 7 days a week from 7 a.m. – 10 p.m., with a $75 consultation fee per session.

  • Waiting period: 10 days after purchase

Doctor Discount Network - Provides 5%–40% savings on medical services, helping members and their families reduce costs on care not covered by insurance, including cosmetic procedures. Benefits become effective after purchase, and you’ll receive a welcome email with your benefit card and member ID. Discounts apply only at in-network providers, which can be found through the portal in the app.

  • Waiting period: 7 days after purchase

Virtual Mental Support - Provides anonymous, 24/7 access to certified peer Listeners who offer support and validation based on shared life experiences. Members can browse or be matched with Listeners by topic, language, culture, or preferences, and connect on-demand or by scheduling. The benefit includes up to 120 minutes of talk time per month, with additional time billed separately.

  • Waiting period: N/A

Virtual Vet - Virtual Vet grants you immediate access to licensed veterinary professionals via video chat or phone calls for advice and guidance 24 hours a day every day of the year. Access as often as you need for pet questions or concerns you may have. A virtual visit fee of $30 applies to all virtual visits.

  • Waiting period: 10 days after purchase

Hospital Accident Benefits - Provide up to $500 per day for up to 30 days of hospital confinement following a covered accident (e.g., broken bone, concussion, burn). Payments can go directly to the hospital or be reimbursed to you, with no restrictions on how the money is used—covering expenses such as deductibles, out-of-pocket costs, childcare, pet sitting, or food delivery. Full details and covered accidents are listed in the insurance certificate.

  • Waiting period: 61 days after purchase

Benefits are subject to change, you will be notified about any changes. Visit $1 Health Benefits within EarnIn or visit Avibra’s website for current benefits. 

Can I cover my family too?

Many benefits automatically cover children under 18. For others, each adult may need a separate membership. Always check the benefit details during sign-up.
 

Eligibility and Requirements

Who is eligible for $1 Health Benefits?

All active EarnIn customers can access these benefits if you complete Avibra’s account creation process. There are no income or employment restrictions. 

What if I cancel one benefit? Do I lose them all?

No. Each benefit is separate. Canceling one does not affect the others unless you cancel them all. If you cancel a benefit, the benefit is removed immediately, not on your next billing date. 

I got an email saying my benefit was canceled. Can I reactivate it?

Yes. Visit EarnIn or Avibra's website or app to reactivate any benefits. If you cancel voluntarily but decide to repurchase, the waiting period does restart. Avibra may remove the waiting period on a case-by-case basis if the benefit is purchased immediately. 

If there’s a failed payment, there's a one month grace period to update your payment method and/or complete the payment before the benefit is removed. 

What happens to my benefits if I uninstall EarnIn?

Avibra will email you a link so you can continue managing your benefits after uninstalling the EarnIn app. You do not need to continue using EarnIn to access your benefits. 

Claims and Coverage

How do I file a claim?

Log into your Avibra account, select the benefit, and follow the claim instructions listed there. This is also where you will find your documents and support details. 

How do I find in-network coverage

Go to the Avibra’s app or website and find the button on the benefits page to find in-network doctors or coverage within your zip code. 

Why does my insurance certificate not show my name?

Avibra provides a group certificate. Your personal enrollment info is available in your Membership Guide within your account.
