How does Early Pay work?
With Early Pay, you can access your paycheck up to two days early for a flat fee of $2.99 per paycheck.
Here’s how you sign up:
1. Create an EarnIn Account
2. Follow the steps to create a Deposit Account with our partner bank Evolve Bank & Trust, Member FDIC
3. Select Lightning Speed if you want to receive your paycheck early ($2.99 fee charged by Evolve Bank & Trust per paycheck applies)
4. Update payroll with your employer to route your direct deposit through your Deposit Account5. Provide a debit card number associated with your linked bank account
Your paycheck is routed through your Deposit Account to your linked bank account. Funds are usually available on the day your employer processes payroll, which may be up to 2 days before your scheduled payday.
Why is a debit card required for getting my paycheck early?
A verified debit card allows us to send your paycheck up to two days early. Without a debit card on file, you’ll get your paycheck on your regular payday.
How do I route my direct deposit?
After you’ve opened a Deposit Account with Evolve Bank & Trust, Member FDIC you’ll be asked to switch your paycheck to this account. You can switch the routing of your paycheck automatically, by selecting your payroll provider or employer (from the options available in the app) and providing your login information.
Alternatively, you can switch your paycheck manually by downloading from the app a pre-filled direct deposit authorization form and sending it to your employer.
The manual process will take 1-2 pay periods to take effect. You can find the account and routing number under your name card in app settings.
What is the Early Pay fee?
A flat fee of $2.99 is charged by Evolve Bank & Trust if you select the Lightning Speed option to get your paycheck in your linked bank account up to 2 days early. Please note, if you select the standard transfer option, your paycheck will be routed to your linked bank account for free on your regular payday.
Is Early Pay available everywhere?
No. Early Pay is not available for residents of Connecticut, the District of Columbia, or Maryland. Also, the availability of early funds is not guaranteed anywhere and may vary from paycheck to paycheck. Early access to your paycheck depends on the timing of your employer’s payroll processing.
How do I sign up for and use Cash Out?
Cash Out allows you to access up to $150 per day and up to $750 per pay period. Plus, get an additional $50 to $300 (capped at $1000) with a qualifying direct deposit of $1000 per month - that’s $500 per paycheck if you get paid every 2 weeks, or $250 per paycheck if you get paid every week).
To use Cash Out, you’ll first verify your employment and earnings.
There are two ways to verify earnings through EarnIn:
-
Verifying your work-provided email address.
- Earnings will be updated automatically every day.
-
Entering your work location and enabling GPS location tracking on your device.
- Bring your device to work each day to add earnings. This requires app permissions to be set to “always on” (for iOS) and “all the time” (for Android).
Enable both of these earnings methods for the best EarnIn experience.
Next, you can transfer out a portion of the money you've earned:
1. Go to the EarnIn app home screen.
