The Deposit Account is a transaction account opened and maintained by EarnIn’s banking partner and accessed through the EarnIn app. For full details, visit the Evolve Deposit Account Agreement.
The Deposit Account offers the following benefits:
- Access your paycheck up to two days early with Early Pay for a $2.99 Lightning Speed fee charged by our banking partner, or use the standard transfer to deliver your paycheck on your employer’s scheduled payday for no cost.
- If you also use our Cash Out service, you will get:
- A higher Pay Period Max ($50-$300 more, capped at $1,000). To qualify for a Pay Period Max increase, your direct deposits must be at least $250 if you get paid weekly, $500 if you get paid biweekly, or $1,000 if you get paid monthly.
- A discount on Lightning Speed fee, every time you Transfer Out. For current fees, please see EarnIn’s Lightning Speed Fee table.
How do I open a Deposit Account?
If you receive an invitation to open a Deposit Account, simply follow the step-by-step process within the EarnIn app:
- Verify your identity.
- Agree to the banking partner terms and conditions.
If you didn’t receive an invitation from EarnIn to open a Deposit Account but would like to open one, just log in to the EarnIn app, tap “Get Paid Sooner,” and follow the prompts to complete your account setup.
How do I sign up for Early Pay?
1. Create an EarnIn Account (if you don’t have one yet)
2. Follow the steps to create a Deposit Account with our banking partner Evolve Bank & Trust, Member FDIC
3. Select Lightning Speed if you want to receive your paycheck early ($2.99 fee per paycheck applies, charged by our banking partner)
4. Provide the debit card number associated with your linked bank account
5. Update payroll with your employer to route your direct deposit through your new Deposit Account. You can find the account and routing number in the EarnIn app, under the “settings” tab, below your name.
Your paycheck is transferred by our banking partner routed through your Deposit Account to your linked bank account, per your instructions in the EarnIn app. Funds are usually available on the day your employer processes payroll, which may be up to 2 days before your scheduled payday.
Is Early Pay available everywhere?
No. Early Pay is not available for residents of Connecticut, the District of Columbia, or Maryland. Also, the availability of early funds is not guaranteed anywhere and may vary from paycheck to paycheck. Early access to your paycheck depends on the timing of your employer’s payroll processing.
