Lightning Speed is a fee for optional expedited transfer services. Depending on the product, this fee is charged by either EarnIn or by its banking partner, Evolve Bank & Trust. Fees marked with a [*] are charged by EarnIn, while those marked with a [^] are charged by Evolve Bank & Trust. See details below.

“Transfer out” and “Cash Out” are terms used interchangeably within our platform. Both refer to the process of transferring earned income to your linked bank account.

The following fees apply to residents of New York, Washington D.C., and residents of California who opened their accounts before 11/19/2025. California residents who opened their accounts after this date should refer to the standard fee table.  

Lighting Speed Fees - Cash Out

  • $3.99 (on transfers $100 or less)*
  • $5.99 (on transfers greater than $100)*

Standard Speed Transfer (1–2 Business Days)
