What is side hustle?
Side hustle is a new way for you to earn cash rewards by testing and playing games in the EarnIn app1, adjoe is a partner platform that lets you earn cash rewards by discovering and playing mobile games. You can track and withdraw your rewards in the EarnIn app.
How old do I need to be to earn rewards and use the adjoe arcade through EarnIn?
You need to be 18 years or older. Age verification must be passed to earn and access rewards.
How do I start earning with adjoe?
In the EarnIn app, tap the offer tile (Earn cash playing games) or click “More” to view the offer tile icon. You’ll see details on how it works and then go to adjoe’s game catalog. You will need to sign up and agree to the terms of the platform.
How do I view my earnings?
You’ll see a new tile called “Side hustle” on the EarnIn App home screen that shows your rewards to date. Once you have a Tip Yourself (TYS) account, your updated balance appears in Side hustle Tip Jar which can be accessed from the Save tab in the EarnIn app.
How are my rewards credited?
Any rewards you earn by playing games through adjoe are credited the business day after you earned the reward into your TYS account. You’ll see the running total in the EarnIn app.
When do I receive my rewards?
You accrue rewards in real-time while playing games. EarnIn deposits those rewards into your Tip Yourself account by 5 p.m ET on business day after you earned the reward.
Do I need to open a Tip Yourself Account to withdraw my earnings?
Yes. You can play and accrue rewards without a Tip Yourself account, but you must have a Tip Yourself account to withdraw funds into your bank account. Create your Tip Yourself account within the period stated in the terms or relevant announcement to keep your rewards from expiring.
Is there a limitation on the amount of rewards I can earn playing through the adjoe platform?
No, there’s no limit. You can keep earning as long as you pass age verification and meet adjoe’s game milestones.
How many rewards am I able to earn with each game?
When you open the arcade, you will be able to view maximum allowed cash rewards with each game and the milestones to complete in order to achieve the rewards.
What if I don’t meet the requirement to open a Tip Yourself account or my Tip Yourself account is closed?
You won’t be able to withdraw the earned rewards, and your access to the arcade will be blocked. Rewards earned but not paid out will eventually expire.
Will I get a 1099 if I earn more than $600?
Yes. If you earn $600 or more in a calendar year across all rewards and referrals offered by EarnIn, we’ll send you a 1099 for tax purposes and we’re required to report the income to the IRS.
Do my rewards have a time limit before they expire?
Yes—if you don’t open a Tip Yourself account, your rewards will expire after 60 days.
Once you create a Tip Yourself account, your rewards will no longer expire, so long as your TYS account remains active.
If I am an existing Tip Yourself user, which Tip Jar will accrue my cash rewards?
As an existing Tip Yourself user, your rewards will be deposited into your oldest Tip Jar.
